The wind is biting and the temperature is brutal! It's definitely time for a big, brash IPA. Cosmic Winter delivers the classic West Coast punch with 100% Centennial hops. This fruity and piney explosion will leave you hoping that spring never arrives.

Deep golden color, fairly clear (clearer than I expected!). Pours a decent sized creamy white head with good retention for a strong beer.

Rich aroma with plenty of malt and mostly piney hops, slight hint of alcohol.

Malty sweet and with some fruity hop flavors early, turning a bit more earthy and bitter midmouth onward. Back end bitterness is subtle. Overall very smooth tasting. Malty and hoppy without being overpowering.

Medium body and carbonation. No astringency, and minimal warming. Again quite smooth for a big IPA.

As with all of the "Cosmic" seasonal IPAs, a really pleasantly drinking hoppy beer.
