Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Muted gold to an almost tarnished yellow gold body. Sort of a muddy appearance, with light opaque quality. Simple straightforward three finger nice and not too bright white head and island retention.
Mild hop aroma with a mellow and soft sense. Muted touches of floral hop, and a perfume tropical sense that is a little light on the nose. Touches citrus as well with some nice complexity but there's a lot that's buried here and hard to explore and find on the nose.
Palate makes a real nice improvement. Juiced up rich almost creamsicle orange like tasting, with more of a citrus front than a complex hinting nose. Creamy body just a hair, but lacks just a touch of richness. A real soft finish, but also comes still more of a muted mushy tone of fruit without a real discernable fruit angle.
Decent brew, but seems like it could use a bigger angle on the IPA front.
