Poured from the can into a nonic(k) pint glass.
Rich lathering full tall and milkshake like four finger booming head. Cutting and crawling up the glass and coating real nicely. Deep dark walnut reddish brown color, and shiny and glossy as can be. Real aggressive.
Delicious aroma. Large hinting waffer like dark chocolate, and hinting booze. Soft coffee notes, but more of a nougat nutty quality minus the caramel sweetness. Surprisingly well controlled heat for a very high abv.
Palate rich and nicely decadent. Creamy and milky thick like texture which just adds to the experience. Flavor comes out like a coffee milkshake, lots of cream like sweetness but also some heated coffee grind flavors, and some light astringent bitterness on the finish. Definitely comes with some booze heat, but far less than the actual big abv listed at ten percent, making for very easy drinking, almost dangerously so. Finishes with a touch of fruited hinting brandy which goes great with the coffee angle.
Really well designed coffee high abv stout here. Flat out excellent.

Aroma has coffee and roasted malt hints
The taste follows the nose with a coffee and roasted malt flavor
