Poured from the can into a wheat ale glass. Kanpai!!
Beautiful rich forming head, with a lot of staying power which seems pretty impressive for a gose. Three fingers of light styrofoam like head, with a hint of fainted pink color. The body color is real nice, slightly hazed but has a great shine and enough light to pass through showing off an array of great color. Hints pink to mostly orange and with ample fine carbonation throughout. Great looking beer.
Salty aroma all over, and heavily so. Does manage to be a good brine and faint tart, but then floral hits come out with touches of sharp lime and citrus. Doesn't quite sense cherry, but does come off nice and somewhat exotic.
Palate is really nice. Lime like mid palate with licks of rock salt, and a chewy sensing body. Finishes with a good pop of bread dough, even pie like crust, and hinted cherry fruit as well. Tangy finish almost bitter but sticks with classic gose sour.
Really nice addition to the lineup. Hope they make this again next Spring.
