Poured from the can into a wheat ale style glass.
Real distinct and nice looking gose. Bronzed dark gold with some good clarity and lively carbonation. Frothy giant but controlled head, and an off pink hinting color which is very fine but just noticeable enough. Rich looking with a big bubbled top and large amounts of retention virtually IPA looking.
Aroma is great as well. Tangy citrus, with a nice berry tone that seems more like a sweetened cherry note. Good touches of dense malt and brine like salty scents. Just really nicely put together.
Palate is solid. Briny touching salt and a faint hint of sourness matching with a lime kick of bitter zest and oil on the finish. Supportive malt backbone but doesn't quite manage a hefty lift but gets the job done. Minimal fruit sensations which is unfortunate but the base gose quality all seems to stand out.
This has a nice lime kick but lacks the fruity hint unless it's tartness perhaps that the cranberries help create. Just feels and tastes like a solid gose which is nothing to complain about.
