Poured from the can into a Hoegaarden branded glass.
Pale lemon gold, and very clear with lots noticeable carbonation. Fluffy and heavily topped rocky head, bright and bleach white with a big foamy appearance. Settles with even a few touches of lacing.
Aroma is big, bold, and not messing around. Big sweet spicy notes of corriander, orange peel, cardamom and touches of sucrose like candi sugar. Almost icing thick sensing but without being overly sweet. Real impressive nose.
Palate just pushes the right buttons. Coriander and lots of grass like tones. Herbal finish with faint touches of lemon and orange like citrus. Earthy and sweet touches that are perfume like, with and excellent full finish of light touching Belgian classic sweetness.
Haven't gotten excited about a witbier in ages, this one is a great one that is memorable, with a lot of girth and pride.
