Clear reddish brown, quick beige head. Exceptional piney, resiny, citric aroma made its way through the bar's various smells. It was no easy feat, believe me. Nice hop smack upon first sip. Not outragously bitter but the aroma was just a prelude to the hop flavor of this brew. American and proud, this one was saying. Nice malt backone to compliment it, body stood up perfectly. Lingering finish. Overall, a finely crafted brew.
As an aside, I've been eagerly anticipating my first encounter with an Amarillo-hopped brew. I was not disappointed.

An unfiltered IPA. Dark amber color, wth a thin beige head. Very hoppy aroma, with a matching sharp, bitter hoppy flavor. Halfway through the hoppy flavor, the pallet changes over to a very citrusy, lemony finish. Mouthfeel is just a bit watery, but this beer is hopped nicely in both aroma and flavor, and is very drinkable.
