Draught at the brewery: This was suprisingly a very dark golden color. There was about no head to it at all. There was a mild nose of floral hops, with some hints of pine, but they were very weak. There was some bitterness to the taste, but it was very subdued. Medium malt backbone to the beer. There was a slight dryness and a hint of more bitterness in the aftertaste. A good beer, but definitely an IPA dumbed down for the masses. With their other offerings of beer for the masses, I would think that this one would have a bit more character.

Surprisingly dark, iced tea color with a low head of large bubbles, reminiscent of soda. Faint aroma of sweet malt and floral hops. Big flavor upfront, very citrusy and piney, with a bit of understated malt. That's the end of the malt. Flavor intensifies and becomes a pungent orange peel as it continues through the pallette, with bits of spicy cinnamon, and finishes peppery, with a lingering burning feeling. Sends waves of warmth up the sides of the mouth. Mouthfeel is smooth, moderate to low carbonation. Long legs of lace streak down the glass.
