Appearance: slightly hazy light goldenrod, white dense lasting head, good lacing, mellow steady carbonation

Smell: subdued, balanced combination of citrus/floral/piney hop notes with a sweet toasty malt background. Time may have taken its toll a little here.

Taste/mouthfeel/etc: initial hop attack- pine needls, grapefruits, oranges, and pineapples all thrown into a blender whole with a smokey background component that I usually get from Amarillo. mmmm, let's do that again.... ok... I think there's a little toasty sweetness in there too to round out the rough edges, but I wasn't letting my mind go there. Lighter mouthfeel makes it an extrememly fast disappearing beer. What a way to start off my new life as a frequent CS growler customer.

this beer pours the color of a bit-o-honey, lots of bubbles and a head that dissipates as quick as it rises. toasty smell mixed with hop wafts and a bit of beery alcohol. taste is a sharp bitterness with a slight pineapple followup, cutting back to the bitterness for a spectacular finish. uncanny light body makes this brew super drinkable for something so hoppy. chalky hop resin lingers and gives you your money's worth on this fine elixir.

Light honey to straw colored with a big and foamy white head that sits about a half inch high, and sticks around for a while. Big aroma of tangerines and citrus peels...I can't take any more time to identify other smells before some inexplicable force pushes the glass to my mouth. Flavor is bright and clean and crisp - floral and citrus, mostly tangerine, with some orange peel bitter in the finish. Not picking up any pine or malt, it tastes like all citrus to me, which I prefer. Perhaps my favorite IPA to date from Ron's vast repertoire. This should be a crowd pleaser.
