Fairly opaque in appearance, skimpy off-white head, faint rising carbonation. Aroma is heavily roasted. Taste is heavily roasted. Mild American-type citrus bitterness tries to round out the roast, but can't keep up. Same with the mouthfeel. It's not the lightness of the brew that's the problem, that's actually welcome this time of year. But given it's gravity, roastness needs to be cut back a bit. Still enjoyable, just a little out of whack.
