An experimental West Coast cool jazz inspired INDIA PALE LAGER, dry hopped and very bitter, but fermented with lager yeast at low cellar temperatures.

On cask at Litchfield Brew fest.
Coppery amber..clear,with a big foamy tan head...slight lacing, .. drops to a film which lasts.
Smells of pungent piney and floral hops.
Tastes really good....excellent balance of pineapple/pine hop with a nice sweet malt....bitter background that is just enough.
The body was light/medium.. with medium carbonation...also just right.
I would have guessed that this was a really good IPA. I think the sign at the table called it an India Pale Lager...whatever...it was the best "Pale ..." at the fest.
Got a chance to talk to Ron about naming this beer after Chet Baker and his West Coast "cool" style....we even agreed on a favorite tune....I think that it's a pretty nice tribute to a great, but tragic musician.
Drinkability....I could drink this stuff " Time After Time" !

This came to the table as a nice dark copper color. There was a small white head that did hold for a while. No notable carbonation. Nice lacing.

This beer had a very nice in your face hops presentation that surprised me with a nice ikck back of citrus. Citrus was a grapefruit/tangerine blend.

The first taste was a combination of hops and tangerine. There was no additional flavors noted with later sips. Had a nice bitter body with a more hops then citrus finish.

Slightly watery body. Had no carbonation action in my mouth. Smooth beer, but had no play on the surfaces of my tongue.

It is a good offering solid average offering that would work nice with a plate of nachos. Would like to see a higher amount of carbonation in this beer.
