I had a growler of this brew from a recent visit and sampled it cold in a pint glass.
The beer pours a dark chocolate brown with creamy thin tan head that fades to an edge layer quickly.
Aroma is chocolate, espresso bean, brown sugar, and bits of roasted malt as well. First sip reveals an average to thick body with mild very fine carbonation. Flavor is similar to nose with lots of malt and no hop presence. I get brown sugar and chocolate mixing with roasted malt, a very light and sweet latte anyone? No hint of any ABV anywhere and the beer is smooth and easy to drink. Nice brew.

Poured a deep black hue with a one finger creamy tan head. There was good retention and sticky lacing.
The smell featured a good burnt grain, lactose and a powerful spent coffee grounds aroma.
The taste was upfront burnt grain with a secondary sweet lactose. However the bitter spent coffee grounds detracted from the flavor.
The mouthfeel was of average fullness for the style.
Overall a tasy sweet stout.
