On tap. Pours a dark brown, basically black with a thin tan head. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is a faint coffee and chocolate smell. Some roasted malts. Flavor of bittersweet dark chocolate. Slight coffee taste as well. Light drinking porter but has a good amount of flavor. Crisp and refreshing. I dig it. Worth another try.

Fantastic! A nice dry porter with a good clean finish. The roasted malt is apparent in the aroma and taste. Pours a dark amber to light black with a strong medium body. Ive been going to City Steam for the past 11 years and this is by far their best. I hope it stays on tap as a regular.

Brewed in memory of Irish fiddler P.V. O'Donnell who performed frequently at City Steam. Pours deep dark brown and opaque with a big thick head of oatmeal colored foam that lingers long and leaves big sheets of lace.
Aroma of cocoa and dark roasted malt. Interesting mix of rich flavors of coffee and dark chocolate, root beer and smoke, some leather and cherry. Mild bitterness. Even and rich mouthfeel, finishes tingly and slightly tannic. Very tasty beer, excellent porter.
