On tap at the source.
Comes to the table a light golden almost amber color with a small quickly disappearing head. Buttery caramel and light bready malt with barely enough hop aroma to balance the sweetness. Light bready pilsener malt flavor with a small shot of spicy hop bite. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Decent light pilsner brew but needs a bit more breadiness.

Toasted straw/light caramel colored with a low head of beige. aroma is faint, but there is semi-sweet biscuity malt, and ripe fruits. Flavor is rich lightly sweet malt right upfront, followed by tingly carbonation and understated hops. Mouthfeel is crisp, a little bubbly, but smooths out in the finish as the malt envelops the mouth. Malt is even and balanced, very smooth, folowed by some butterscotch, a little corn, and some cinnamon. Don't have to think too much about this one - just a damn good, smooth and very drinkable beer.

A very tasty bier. Poured with a nice full head that stuck around for several minutes. Absolutely beautiful deep amber color, and filled the mouth nicely with rich, malty flavor. Reminded me of some of the Dunkel offerings from the Munich beerhalls, but not quite as sweet. Overall, very impressive and highly recommended. This was the best of the three offerings from City Steam that I sampled.
