On tap at the source.
Comes to the table a clear amber/red color with a huge long lasting off white head. Huge garlic, green onion and pine aroma with a light grassy and bready character thrown in for good measure. The flavor is bready up front with a solid hit of onion garlic and pine resin and a little bit of diacytyl. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Decent brew a bit one dimensional, but great fro getting your hop on.

Had this last weekend at the brew pub in Hartford and thought it was delicious. Brought this growler home and it remains a keeper. A fairly dark but hazy/dusty brown colored brew it presents more like an amber/red but the brew pub listed it as a "Boston Pale Ale" (?). Untappd calls it a "pale lager", go figure. It caries a respectable white/tan-ish froth on top and leaves plenty of trusty lacing behind. The aroma is a hop pleaser with crisp citrus, lemon and pineapple and just a touch of some earthy pie crust in the background. Very nice. The flavor does not disappoint. It introduces a decent malt/brown bread balance to the pleasant bite of the citrus/grass hop character that stays true to the preceding aroma. Less of the pineapple now and more of the lemon and malt playing together with oak and grass. It has relatively mellow carbonation but it still delivers a little crispness for sure. It's medium light in body with a slight chalky feel that works well with the otherwise refreshing qualities of this enjoyable and highly drinkable hop beauty.
