Transplant City Beer Company

 

 

I don't know if the 110 F weather put me thristing for any beer or the Arizona game of brewing has upticked immensely over the recent past, but Transplant City is another brewery west of Phoenix that was well worth my time to learn about. It's dabbed in the center of town with decent parking spaces on the street, Interior is small but busting with people, even at 4pm.

At Transplant City, it's about quality versus quantity. "Only" seven beers on-tap, served in three sizes, meandering from the standard cream ale and hoppy amber, to a roasted Hatch Chile beer and mango wit. I had three different 10-ounce beers that were blissful and easy to approach, even the Hatch Chile beer that managed to taste of the special chiles married with a lightly sweet cream ale base. I'm thinking in a few years, Tansplant City may need to knock down a few walls and expand the tasting room, because this is a hit.

Small space in Pheonix neighborhood. Little bar seat 6, a few tables squeezed into the room, and small sidewalk patio. 8 beers on tap, the one I had was excellent. Personable brewer/ bartender. A few months old, but very promising.
