Good Schwarzbier from a local brewer!!! Poured from a 12 oz, can into a pilsner glass, this beer featured a dark brown color with lots of reddish light coming through when held to a light. The light tan head was foamy with good retention and there were lots of fragmented bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste featured bready malt (not overly sweet), with a hint of chocolate and mild bitterness. Very good flavor. Mouthfeel was crisp and somewhat less light than many lagers I have tried, this one had a bit more body. No hint of alcohol and only a touch of bitterness. I had it with a sausages and peppers meal and it paired up very well
