Made from a blend of their imperial extra bourbon stout and their Framboise Noire raspberry stout.
A: Pours pitch black with a mocha colored head. Decent retention and lacing. Classic looking.
S: Raspberry jam is in the front with some vanilla, black chocolate and a light black coffee. Straightforward but inviting.
T: Fresh raspberry jam is truly powerful on this one with some vanilla, black chocolate and black coffee. There is some light leather and a tiny amount of oak tannins showing in the aftertaste.
M: Way too light and strong carbonation for the flavors IMO.
O: A straightforward beer that's all about a strong raspberry jam note with some dark chocolate and a touch of the bourbon barrel showing through. The moughtfeel is too light IMO.
