Bottle: Poured a deep dark brown color ale with a brown foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt notes with some caramelized alt notes with light fusel notes. Taste is a mix of smooth chocolate malt notes with caramelized malt notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation and some apparent alcohol notes. Doesn’t really taste like a standard scotch ale but very enjoyable nonetheless.
