C’est la version cryoconcentrée de notre Barley Wine américain, brassé avec notre ami Éric Beauregard en début d’année. Nous avons fait recirculer le précieux breuvage sur des raisins secs Sultana ayant macéré dans le rhum lui ajoutant ainsi une belle rondeur.

330 ml bottle, as Beauregard Baba au Rhum Barley Wine de Glace Cuvee 2025, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 17%. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of oak and rum-raisin, also hints of other dark dried fruits. Sweet flavour as expected, but not cloying, with the same elements as the aroma, but also an astonishing sharp bitterness throughout. Apparently the freeze distilling has also concentrated the hop bitterness. Definitely something out of the ordinary, and it is not a shame to share the bottle between 2 persons.
