Appearance: Pours a medium yellow, light golden color. Massive white head that lingers. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of bread melts, rich Amber Munich malt, some Cara and toast. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of bread malts, Cara Munich malt, Rich caramel, lightly toasted. Sweeter onthe finish. (4.00)
Feel: Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet, yeasty, but fairly clean. (4.25)
Compared to Utepils Receptional 9/2023: Pours lighter, stronger head. Milder aromas. More caramel, rich munich malt. Less grains and yeast. Heavier and sweeter.
Overall: Quite a decent Festbier here. Great earthy and rich Munich flavors. A bit more caramel sweetness and Cara than I'd expect, but strong, robust flavors, without drinking too sweet. Yeasty, and fairly clean. (4.03)

16oz can. Label is marked for canning date as '9/20/21'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Skinny finger of white head upon pouring quickly recedes to partial cap. No lacing.
Aroma is toasted malts, and rich to be close to caramel cream.
Taste is rich toasted malts, semisweet and creamy. Only a slight hop bite at the tail end of the profile. Aftertaste resonates with the sweet toastiness of it all.
Medium mouth feel. Has a touch of crispness but is also creamy and smooth. Okay carbonation.
Definitely a variation on a traditional brew, but certainly rewarding with the richness, creaminess, and overall maltiness.

16oz can with a date
Looks aight, clear, not much head. Smells buttery and delicious. Has the best hop profile I've ever had from an oktoberfest - the hot buttered malt is covered in bitter Euro hop funk. Too easy to drink at 6%

A-Clean, clear gold color....light white head.
S-Fresh bread, toasted malts..
T-A very nice soft toasted malt flavor but still finishes clean and dry...hops aren't noticeable but must lend the balance to this.
F-Medium to light medium bodied...very clean...drinks easy....not cloying or too sweet but a pronounced malt dimension.
O-This is a great beer with an interesting brewing style.
From the brewer" This is a full low oxygen brewed beer. Meaning all dissolved oxygen was removed on the hot side of production. "
I've never heard of this before but maybe I'm not up to date on brewing techniques these days but all I can say is this is by far the top U.S brewed Oktoberfest I've had this year. Kicking myself for not bringing back more of this. One growler is not going to be sufficient.
