This little brewery is a real find. Beautiful place and nice food. Staff is helpful. The three brews available are built for the masses so don't expect artisan brews. But that doesn't mean anything negative. The brews are good and the location definitely helps. This a standard pils that drinks well. Balanced and smooth. Subtle smells. A basic easy drinking brew. Perfect for relaxing after touring a beautiful and historic city. You'll drink this and enjoy.

Pours a finger and half of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is airy grain.
The taste is mild grain and lemon.
The texture is softer for a pils.
It's enjoyable.

Had on-tap at the Kulturbrauerei in Heidelberg, poured into a small pint glass.
L: Poured a clear golden color with thick creamy white head. Nice lacing.
S: Grains and noble hops.
T/F: Nicely balanced pilsener with a good mix of malts and hops. Slightly greater hop profile than typical for the style. Crisp and clean, with ample carbonation.
O: Overall a very tasty pilsener and one I'd recommend seeking out in Heidelberg (really any beer by Kulturbrauerei).
