Look: Clear dark copper in color with a red sheen. Standard-sized head of dense khaki colored foam.
Smell: Floral and very subtly fruity.
Taste: Grainy, bready, toasty, caramelish, floral, and herbal.
Feel: Medium bodied and crisp with a fine-bubbled carbonation.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear dark straw body.
The aroma is clean with mild grain.
The taste is grain, roasted malt and lemon.
The texture is crisp with soft edges.
It's fine enough.

Had on tap at the Kulturbrauerei in Heidelberg, poured into a tall pint glass.
L: Pours a cloudy deep mahogany color with generous off-white head. Great lacing.
S: Malts and noble hops. Biscuits and grain.
T /F: Delicious beer, with a solid bread/biscuit malt backbone well balanced with the bitterness of the hops. Well carbonated and smooth.
O: Fantastic beer and unusual to see a German take on the style. Great summer seasonal and again just a terrific beer.
