Had on tap at the Kulturbrauerei Heidelberg. This is a seasonal beer; I had it in February.
Pours a medium-bodied copper - a little murky - with a nice, thick head. The nose was uninteresting and only had the faintest aromas of Germanic malts.
High in carbonation, the taste was very pleasant. Nice roasted malts were balanced with a light sweetness. There was a long, bitter finish of German hops.
This is not a complex beer, but very enjoyable and certainly very drinkable. If you're staying at the hotel in spring, it is definitely worth enjoying.
