this is an absolutely wonderful place, an unexpected treasure in the local brewery scene here, it ended up being one of, if not my very favorite stop we hit in texas. its real new, a mexican inspired brewery, but i dont mean a bunch of lagers like we usually see with this theme. they have some incredibly unique beers, using flavors of mexico in highly innovative recipes. the had a cactus beer, a tamarind one, and even one made with empanadas, i have never seen anything like it, and just about all of them were really good, we were totally blown away. the space is cool, a small garage but it all kind of feels like a patio in cuba or something, whitewash, bright colors, some wood, kind of a rustic urban vibe, if thats such a thing, with what seemed like the whole family behind the bar, all of who were kind and chatty and quick with the samples. they are obviously excited about and proud of what they are doing here, and they absolutely should be. there are a few tables outside too, a picnic sort of vibe there, and a food truck in front. everyone in here seemed as stoked as we were, the beer really speaks for itself! for all the generic yellow beer we had around town, this place was a beacon of creativity, and i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new flavor experience in their beer. this place was so cool, im glad we drove back across town to check it out. definitely a highlight of our trip!
