Nearly cloudy, medium dark caramel, with orange highlights, for the look. Rich, dark malted and caramel aroma, with a bit of an allspice note. A little light and sharp, medium heavy roasted grain, a touch of wood, and medium dark toasted malt, with a slight off-dry, undertone, flavor palette.

Taster flight at Bevel, Brewers choice. Mahogany pour, off-white soapy head. Aroma is deep, malty, sweet. Taste is raisins, pit fruit, dark malts, almost venturing into Barleywine territory. Nice ABV presence.
