16 oz can served in a Tervis at the 2023 Fall ASMF with [a follow-up 16 oz can in December 2023]. Composite rating scores.
Appearance. Opaque, brackish body with a very durable tan head.
The aroma has an off-note that indicates something went wrong on the way to my glass. [Not found in a2nd can]. Fortunately, this defect is less obvious in the flavor where a solid base of dark roasted grains and coffee partially mask it. [More chocolate than noticed with can 1].

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch light tan head over a very dark brown body with scant lacing. Nose of coffee and roasted malt. Taste is a bit sweeter than expected with flavor of slight milk chocolate, but finishing dry with slight bitter chocolate and coffee. Nice feel and overall, a nice surprise from Proctor, Vermont.
Cheers!!
