Pours a glowing dark purple with soft pink head.
Smell is tart with a hit of ginger and notes of black currants and lime. Juicy and crisp.
Taste is tart and creamy, letting the currants and lime take centerstage with a hint of perfumey ginger and dry white wine in the wings. Nice acidity and a hint of sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice Berliner with just the right touch of ginger.
