Appearance - pours opaque deep orange with a nice fluffy white head that settles pretty quickly to a thick ring.

Aroma - Getting some big sweet tropical fruit, mild onion, little bit of grass. Cold no sign of the alcohol but it shows just a bit as it warms some.

Taste - Right up front I get some orange/tangerine I expected it to be pretty sweet based on the lactose sugar but once the initial tropical fruit passes it quickly changes to a nice bitterness with citrus peel and grapefruit.

Feel - Pretty creamy nice soft carbonation, slightly dry finish.

Overall - I really like the NEIPAs that have some balance to them, this one is very well balanced. I almost for got about the 9% alcohol there is no sign of it.

Pours a cloudy, creamy-looking light orange with a fat finger of soupy antique white head. Thick lacing.

Big aroma with clementine, vanilla, grass and herbs. A hint of coconut.

Creamy tasting with lots of citrus (orange, lime), floral passionfruit, then an herbal, very slightly bitter finish that prevents it from being sweet.

Big, full, creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.

Very creamy, but tastes like what well-crafted New England IPAs used to taste like a few years ago before everyone got in the game. It is sort of “comfortable” in that way. Great example of the substyle.
