Predictably, a complete murk bomb, pulpy, opaque, and dark, ruddy orange. Head production is very good from a modest pour, retention is nice, and lacing is excellent. No visible flaws; very good appearance for the style, which is of course subjective.
Soft and tropical fruit-forward nose, carrying with it a bit of dankness. Bright herbal hops are present in the background, but the main tones are tropical fruit: mango, pineapple, papaya. Other accents include cream, caramel, orange, ruby red grapefruit, lemon, grass.
Everything comes together on the palate and blends in swirls, rather than waves. Big juicy citrus tones come to the forefront, mingling with tropical notes that later take more priority. Plenty of pale and caramel malt notes immediately hit the tongue, as well, quickly fading as the sugars are absorbed and the hops take over. Some brighter, greener herbs make an appearance here or there, but this one is all about the juice. Long finish.
Quite lively on the palate, bringing some sting up front, but ultimately settling into a thick and creamy body. Style appropriate, and I'm shocked to be reminded of the 9.5% ABV, as this thing is way more drinkable than it has a right to demand.

Thank you thebeers for this
16 oz can, dated 10/18/19, poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden orange with a two finger white head.
S- Citrus, lime rinds, some tropical fruits/gummy bears, some sweet malts, a little grassy/dank.
T- Citrus, some tropical fruits, gummy bears, citrus rinds, some sweet malts, slightly grassy, some piney dankness in the finish.
M- Smooth, full body, creamy.
O- A nicely balanced TIPA, good amount of malts without being overly sweet. The hops are an interesting combo, a little on the grassy side but not in a bad way.

Big thanks to Arthur for the can(s)!
Cardboard/ chicken stock orange brown color, completely opaque. A massive foam rests above and simply plasters the glass with ring after ring, after each sip.
The aroma is surprising subdued. Mellow tropical fruits and sugar cookie dough. Gotta admit though, at the crack of the can, I swear I gotta huge whiff of weed, but that might have just been perfect timing with my neighbor...
Flavor is sweet and cookie-doughy as well with splashes of orange and pineapple marmalades. A touch of alcohol and citrus rind in the end.
As advertised, this is definitely creamy. Full bodied, smooth, and pillowy rich with a lip smacking stickiness. Very much on the sweet side but does have a climbing bitterness on the finish. The alcohol is warming but not intense by any means.
This is indeed a comfy and creamy beer. A little sweeter than I had anticipated and a sipper for sure. Very glad to have the opportunity to try, and look forward to a second in the near future.
Cheers, and thanks again Arthur!

Poured fresh from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Thick dull golden pour. Hazed with thick foamy white head. Great lacing.
S: Tropical fruit and citrus. Grapefruit and grass.
T.F: Semi-sweet to start... strong pineapple and tangerine mixed with grapefruit and summer stone fruit. Juicy and thick... some mango and honey. Modest bitterness. ABV mostly hidden but some booze at the finish. Creamy carbonation.
O: Very drinkable for the ABV... great juicy IPA flavor. A little sweet, but modest for a TIPA. Very enjoyable brew.

Super thick and creamy orange with close to two fingers of lightly-yellowed head. Solid retention, followed by nice rings of lacing.
Muted aroma of dull orange and tropical fruits, as well as a hint of grass.
The taste is more vibrant with orange, lemon, pineapple, some very slight toast and a kiss of alcohol. A mild grassy bitterness mixed with the citrus in the aftertaste.
Very full, thick, more-than-creamy feel, with enough carbonation edging its way through that.
This is definitely not one of those overly-sweet TIPAs. There’s enough citrus and grass bitterness to balance it out and make it drinkable, although the high ABV does not go unnoticed. As is appropriate! 10/18/19 canned on date.
