The label describes it as an India Pale Ale, but it has that New England style look to it. From a pint can and into a clear Imperial pint glass, it shows to be blond amber and very cloudy. There's an appropriate amount of white head on top. The aroma is unstriking, blandly starchy with some muted tropical fruit like hops. The taste is much better, as the hops present themselves as sharply piney. It dries out nicely bitter at the finish, after providing a full and well rounded taste. The mouthfeel is good enough to carry the taste experience. Its glass lacing is at least up to standard for the style. Unfortunately, this may just be one in a vast ocean of modern American IPAs, so it will likely get overlooked. But, it's very good, if not outstanding and deserves a try and likely another.
