Celestial Dragon Dank NEIPA

The pour of the contents of a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug brings out a dank looking brew of bright apricot-amber color. The head is modest and borrowers a little shade from the brew. It smells somewhat dank, but more citrusy. The Voss Kevik yeast works well with the Citra and Azacca hops to give this a solid hoppy profile. Midstream, it is rather like a citrus bite, but it ends sharply bitter in a piney way. Not a complaint about the taste or feel of this at all, but the finish is more delightful dry than dank. Although this has other attributes, the almost dry bitter finish is its best. There's no glass lacing, nor sustained head. Neither is there an alcohol bite. Thankfully, not as dank as some NEIPAs, it has the hop bite and enough of a body to make it a good one.
