Pineapple Sour D Hemp IPA is a hazy, juicy IPA brewed with pineapple, hemp hearts and terpene extracts packed together for a brew that’s a total trip! Dank hemp aroma greets the palate and is followed by a hazy cloud of tart pineapple balanced by a soft, kushy mouthfeel and smooth hop bitterness. A heady brew you can crush 'til it’s cashed!

I cracked open the can and it smelled like I opened a dime bag, which was a great start. It pours cloudy orange color with a thick white foamy head that was packed with bubbles and faded slowly leaving decent lacing. It smells weird after poured into a tulip glass, with a mix of pineapple, hemp, weed, Windex, faint lemon zest and dry flowers. The taste was equally strange, with pineapple, orange juice that soured, tangerine, weed, apple cider, flowers and orange circus peanuts candy. This was like ADD in a glass, all over the place like a pinball.

A thanks to the amazing woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a cloudy, bright golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of weed, some pineapple. Taste is big on pineapple, juicy, light weed in the background. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

A very skunky, very grainy ale. It almost felt like I was drinking a heavily skunked strong malt liquor at times. No pineapple or hop presence. A skunky cannabis aroma/flavor throughout with a predominant sweet, strong grain base with a heavy medium body. I found it very enjoyable. It has the perfect balance of hemp and grain.

Lovely deep golden liquid and a dense thick white head. Slow fade, decent lace.

Love the nose. Light skunky weed. Sweet maltiness and mild tropical fruitiness. Pineapples, guava, mangoes.

Great flavor. Sweet malt front with lots of tropicals. Light sourness. Cleanish finish. No trace of alcohol.

Super soft and luscious mouthfeel. Creamy carbonation and smooth swallow.

Just a delicious brew. Super drinkable. Easy to session this and wind up crushed!

Poured into a 16 oz skinny pint glass best by get this 12/25/21 oh lord. Pours a attractive hazy yellow orange with a 2 finger sticky off white head, that leaves some thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.25

Aroma pineapple, peach, mango, and marijuana really can’t get anything else. 3.75

Taste follows pineapple and marijuana are the leads with some peach and mango. 3.75

Mouthfeel is about average, not sticky or dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 7% it goes down easy enough. 3.5

Overall I feel like they should have added some extra dank hops and maybe even some Sabro or cashmere to give it more of a full feel, but what do I know. 3.75

Pours hazy bright gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is big hemp and pineapple juice. Medium body, slightly sweet with moderate carbonation. Interesting and unique but the flavors clash. Not a winner for me.

This one pours a hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.

This smells unsurprisingly very weedy, with a dirty earthiness, and a sweet and slightly tart pineapple character.

There's just too many things going on in this one. The hemp just gives this a weird earthy bitterness for me, and the pineapple comes across as too sweet. There's not enough actual sour character to classify this one as a sour IPA.

This is creamy, a little bit syrupy, with not the best drinkability.

I appreciate the attempt at creativity here, it just didn't work all that well for me.

This is the first hemp beer I've actually sat down with to review, as the few others I've had were at a friends house just for the hell of it. This is also only my second beer from Area Two, the experimental offshoot brewery of Two Roads. Let's see how dank this one is

Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of pillowy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing, plenty of carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass though

Taking a whiff of this is like the aroma that comes from grinding up a ton of sour diesel, just in juicy delicious beer form. I'm picking up on aromas of dank hops, tart lemon, bready malt, lime juice, and light earthy spices

The taste is still very weedy, but slightly bogged down by malt sweetness though it still holds its own. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting sticky weed, caramel malt, light pineapple, and orange juice. The swallow brings notes of dank weed, tart pineapple, doughy malt, orange juice, lemon rind, and earthy hops

A medium full body pairs with very gentle carbonation, resulting in a slightly sweet and juicy beer. Finishes off dry with an increasing tartness

I must say, this is a very good experiment from Area Two. I could drink a decent amount of this. I need more from them

look: hazy pale orange juice color

smell: too much hemp, smells almost stinky

taste: too much fake hemp taste, a slightly hint of pineapple, sweet, the fake hemp is just too strong and ruined everything

feel: super unbalanced ,

overall: please stop make beers with chemicals

16oz pounder with a code and a best-by date

This has one of the best smells in any drink I've ever encountered.. screw beer this smells better than most Kool-Aid - it's like lemon-lime pineapple with hops and weed nugs added. The beer itself is very thick and sweet - this is a fruit beer more than an IPA. The hemp extract lends a powerful marijuana flavor and a lesser scent

I'm drinking this in honor of a fallen comrade. May you live on in peace, good friend, I love you
