A simple grain bill and clean fermentation allow the hops in this beer to shine through. Lots of hop flavor with a restrained bitterness. Orange, grapefruit, pine.

$1.99 @ Wall To Wall Wine and Spirits, Omaha, NE
Notes via stream of consciousness: A very cloudy golden body teems with life as bubbles race towards the surface doing their best to keep the white head afloat. The aroma is citrusy and piney. I'm getting orange, pomelo, and soft pine. It's not the brightest aroma for an IPA bit it's OK. On to the taste... it's not as fruity as I thought it would be. There's something blocking it coming from within the malt... it's woody. Very odd. Let me note before I forget that the head is holding up well and there's some nice lace from where it's already fallen. Back to the taste, it has a citrus pith character to it. I think I was right on with the pomelo smell in the aroma although you could call it dull grapefruit as well. The orange remains, and there's a little bit of lime, peach, and sweet red berry to it as well. It's not great but it's OK. The bitterness is solid and it finishes dry with some minor citrus, pine, and earthiness lingering shortly. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp, and unfortunately a little bit astringent. I think this one has potential but suffers from some technical issues.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/2/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, red apple, mango, honeydew, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.3%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft feel and not overly aggressive. Feels like Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and highly impressive west coast style example.

12 oz can dated 4/2/19.
Mostly clear golden color with slight haze and a firm creamy head of 1 finger, stable. Nice lacing as the head recedes very slowly.
The nose is nice mellow peach and pineapple notes amidst more old school grapefruit and caramel malt. A big wallop of pink grapefruit as well.
Heavy caramel malt opens on the tongue, with some numbing resins and then as the numb recedes some pink grapefruit, guava, lemon, pineapple, and brown sugar. A grassy/piney finish.
Feel is slightly watery but mostly resiny, with some creaminess and a slight bump of alcohol heat. Finish is resiny and sticky.
Overall, a solid midwestern IPA, very old school with shades of new school hops; better than some of the heavier hitters around here.
