Had at the SBC location in Branford before it closed and kind of rebranded into an Italian restaurant. I was there on Friday 8/28 and they still had it on tap, tried some just to check it out again. Poured typical witbier, hazy straw color with a small white head that left some lacing. Smell was pretty bland, some tart wheat and sweetness with just a hint of spice. Taste was similar to the nose but there was an odd aftertaste when warm that I just couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe something with the yeast, like a touch of plastic. Feel was pretty light but too sticky in the mouth. Overall OK but not the best witbier.

Look, smell and feel were similar to standard witbier. Not really impressed by this, though. Unlike the previous rater, I'd rather have a Blue Moon.

9/7....old mix a six bottle from the back of the fridge. Pours dirty gold, see through with haze. Little foam sits. Light wheat nose, very faint citrus. Taste is smooth, mellow, small tart. Little bitter, doesn;t deviate from the middle. Better than Blue Moon, but otherwise just ok.
