i’m moving to tilburg next month, and was doing research on the beer scene there and saw these guys, then only days later, what shows up in my beer advent calendar? a can of their beer of course. such a neat coincidence, however it is not the nicest beer in the world. super lemony, it’s trying to be a “scroppino” pale ale, but they’ve slightly overdone it on the “natuurlijke aroma’s”, some pineapple and mango flavour too, a slight vinous character, nice moderate levels of bitterness, medium carbonation, light to medium bodied, drinkable, but too lemon forward. this won’t put me off trying the rest of my beers when i get there mind, but i do hope this isn’t their best work, not bad tho, different anyway
