16oz can courtesy of BBThunderbolt. My first from FrinGe (and that's probably the last time I type it that way; pFriem's spelling is weirdly charming, but this is downright annoying) an my first Kentucky Common. I thought it was just more "cuteness" from the brewer but it's definitely a style, or was. UnTapped recognizes it, and their description of a KC fits this beer to a T.

Poured what initially looked a dark amber when falling from the can, once in the glass this looked dark brown, taking on a rubyish hue when held up to light. Decent sized beige colored head, one that dropped fairly quickly.

Sweet malty aroma, maybe a little bit of an herbal hop scent as well.

Tastes much like the aroma. Easy drinking malt sweetness, little bit of grassy hoppiness. Finishes clean.

Fairly light-to medium body. Mouth feel is fairly light and clean.

This is a great beer to be drinking after work when the temperature is officially reckoned by the weather witch doctors to be 99°. I could dome the shit out of this. I gotta talk to some local brewer friends about this. Spokane needs the KC. Thanks, Terry!

This looks like iced tea in my glass, including a light tan head that doesn’t really want to appear after a near vertical pour, and REALLY wants to leave - with prejudice.

The nose is just a bit of grass, and a lot of cereal malt and corn. Sign me the fliggity flock up. This beer is straight up beer bong material.

A little crispy mouthfeel, I’m a fan of the steam beer style and this beer is another example why that is so.

16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured an attractive dark coppery amber color with a half-inch of just off-white head that had low-moderate retention and very light lacing.

The aroma had a very good grain base, with some sweetness from the corn used, and soft hops in the background.

Very similar on the tongue, with the hops being brighter, and some sweetness lingering on the finish.

The body was smooth even, clean, and had a finish that started out sweet, but dried out nicely.

Drinkability was very good, you could easily knock back a few of these during the game.

Overall, a very nice and enjoyable brew. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
