16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a clean, clear medium-dark gold color with 3/4 inch of white head that had decent retention and light lacing.
The aroma was hop-forward, mostly citrus with some pine, with some semi-sweet malts in the background.
Similar on the tongue, the grapefruit bitterness reminds you that this isn't what had with your lunch in 4th grade, the pine adds a contrast, and the slightly sweet malts give some relief.
The body, while smooth, did have a bit coarseness (in a good way) across the palate. The finish had a touch of malt sweetness, but the bitterness quickly dried it out.
Drinkability was very good, I could see putting this into my IPA rotation.
Overall, while not an elite PNW IPA, it hits all the marks you want from the style and does not disappoint. Worthyour time if you see it.
