16oz can. Apparently brewed as a Collab with North Fork Brewing for the Shadow Hike-A-Thon, a hiking event with proceeds going to a charity for dogs.
Massive, pillowy head, takes up over half the space in the glass, despite nothing happening to disturb the carbonation.
Virtually odorless. Some bready malts and some tea notes, that's about it.
Mild malt flavor and a bit of a vague nod in the direction of hop flavor.
Pretty sure, by it's appearance, taste and smell that this was infected. This has virtually no hop character whatsoever, despite the ballyhooed presence of "a load of Comet, Idaho 7 and Barbe Rouge hops". Oddly, it's not at all undrinkable. Just tastes like the hops got vaporized somehow.
