Over 100 pounds of hand-roasted jalapeno and poblano peppers went into our twist on the traditional cream ale. But never fear—even those who are heat-averse won’t have a problem quenching their thirst with a few pints of sessionable Lizard Head Peak Chili Cream Ale, with its 5.5% ABV and 18 IBUs. The flavors are deftly balanced with the smooth malts and mouthfeel of the cream ale, and a little spice on the finish. Like the real Lizard Head Peak, it’s a bit out of the ordinary…and that’s exactly why we love it.
