16 fl oz can courtesy of Katelynn & Vince - thanks!
Hazy orange body. Off-white head looks a bit thin but lasts a good ~5-6 minutes.
AROMA: Perfumey citrus zest.
TASTE: Citrusy, a bit pulpy, fruity, juicy.
Pulp, juice, pale malt/2-row, wheat.
TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, refreshing.
OVERALL: A drinkable enjoyable IPA with a nice hop profile. Not a dazzling beer in the oversaturated style, but solid.

Pours fairly thick, golden-orange like peach juice, with modest head. Papaya, lemongrass, mango, wildflower honey on the nose, pretty tropical first impression with some emerging resin notes as it warms a bit. More balance between bitterness and tropical fruits on the palate, with exceptionally smooth and full-bodied mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

16oz can
canned on 10/19/20
thanks to Ken for giving me a can to try!
L: hazy yellow-orange body; foamy ivory head fades to a thin layer over time
S: not as big as expected; mint, citrus, marijuana
T: modest flavors; lemon-lime, mint, grapefruit, guava
F: fuller body, super smooth soft carbonation, balanced finish
O: very smooth and easy drinking. I was hoping the Nelson Sauvin hops would have been bolder, but I was picking up Motueka more than anything

Hazy yellow with a prototypical white head. Smells has great earthy and herbal bitterness combined with melon, lemon, papaya, mango, and clementine. Drier grass and herbal hop complexion in the taste, with a ton of papaya, citrus, and the rest of the fruits supporting, really like this more rustic take on the NEIPA. Feel hazy, fluffy, creamy, and decently arid and hop textured. A refined NEIPA with different stars than the norm, cool

Second beer tonight from these guys that I’m writing the first review. This one is another winner. The New Zealand hops make this an interesting beer. It’s fruity, it’s got a little sweetness and a little bitterness, and it’s got a bit of a punch. Pours with a minimal head but lasting lacing, yellowish orange on top darkening to the bottom of the glass, but cloudy throughout. Smell is hoppy, slightly dank, slightly citrusy, slightly greasy, slightly soapy. Definitely interesting. Taste is a tangy hop bitterness with a strong juicy background of orange, pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit notes, vanilla sweetness on the back end. Slightly mouth watering, medium full bodied, definite alcohol presence. It’s balanced, it’s bold, it’s flavorful. Like I said in my earlier review tonight of Pride of the Fox, these guys are making some good beers.
