A Rye New England style IPA. The rye is just assertive enough to lend a subtle spiciness under the waves of candy fruit hop flavor provided by the massive additions of El Dorado, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Lactose adds a bit of sweetness and further body to the beer.

Nope. Looks pretty good, almost totally opaque, nice, soft lacing. No nose at all, and tastes soapy and extra bitter. Not for me at all.

Canned 7/20/20. Looks like pineapple juice. Faint smell of tropical fruit. The rye provides a subtle spice. I love rye beers, but it doesn’t work for my palette in this one. It conflicts with the tropical flavors for me. Soft, creamy feel. Enjoyable enough, just not my favorite.

Canned 1/29/20; drank 2/11/20 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.
Grapefruit, baking soda, cream & faint rye notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Grapefruit, wheat, cream & mild baking soda flavors up front; mild rye bite on the finish.
Drinkable, surely, but not one I'll reach for again.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at Riverlands Brewing Co on July 19, 2019. A Rye New England style IPA. The rye is just assertive enough to lend a subtle spiciness under the waves of candy fruit hop flavor provided by the massive additions of El Dorado, Simcoe and Mosaic. Lactose sugar adds a bit of sweetness and further body to the beer.

16oz can, hazy peach colored ale capped with a foamy off-white head. Huge juicy, zesty, and tropical fruit aroma: tangerine, passion fruit, mango. Equally huge fruity flavors with more zesty tangerine and piney mango; orange, passion fruit, melon; malt is light caramel and earthy & spicy rye. Full & creamy body, ample carbonation, modest bitteress. I really like what the addition of the rye brings to the table by adding some robustness and complexity to the beer. I think they're onto something with this one.

Had on tap. Hazy/juicy yellow body with a very thin off white head. Smell features tons of citrus up front, especially orange and grapefruit, with some rye, moderate hops, and varied candied fruit. Taste was more intense, started as a sweeter juice bomb, but then the rye and hops really were brought in well to balance. Smooth and creamy, yet has robustness and warmth from the hops and rye that feels wonderful.
