no apparent freshness date
L: dark brown body, capped by a talll & fluffy light brown head
S: peanut butter is most prominent; hazelnut, chocolate, banana, and grain in the nose also
T: loads of complexity: bold peanut butter & chocolate, hazelnut, darkened grain, caramel, banana in the background; earthy hops give it some mild bitterness
F: fuller body, creamy & quite smooth, alcohol is mostly warming, but a bit hot at times, peanut butter lingers on the finish
O: I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the banana, but I’m glad it’s not too bold here. With that being said, I do think there is too much going on in this beer. My palate is having a hard time making all these flavors meld together, and overall it’s somewhat discombobulated.
