Beautiful. Black, big brown head from an aggressive pour but was gone in a flash. Snot factory says chocolate and nuts, taste buds agree. This is way too sweet. Thick'n chewy for sure, zilch carbonation after the pour. Too me, this was undrinkable and 8 of the 12oz went right down the drain. Just awful.

This beer is brewed in collaboration with FireHop Brew Works (Bloomington, Illinois). I shared a can of this beer with my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego at his new home in Yorkville. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had milk chocolate, nougat, and peanuts.....essentially a Baby Ruth....notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with sweet molasses malt base with chocolate, nougat, and peanut presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had smooth carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer but very sweet.
