Wolverine Tears

16 ounce can, canned on 7-14-20, purchased at the brewery a couple days ago. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that fizzled away quickly. Not much lacing, either. Aroma is nice and sweet, the brew smells mostly like peanut butter and milk chocolate, along with some caramel and roasted malt. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, it's dominated by the peanut butter and chocolate, with caramel and roasty flavors noticeable too. Little more of the roasty bitterness comes out in the finish. The aroma is sweeter compared to the taste but it's still a sweet tasting brew overall. It does remind me of eating a Buckeye candy! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and is easy enough to drink. Has a moderate amount of carbonation. This was one of the standouts for me when I was at the taproom, so I had to get some to take home! Definitely worth trying this one if you're in the area.
