Had on tap at the brewery. Interesting concept, apparently a “happy accident” by the brewers. Looks like a cream ale, smells like a grainy cream ale. The flavors are bigger than a typical cream ale. I think I detect pilsner grain and definitely get some stronger yeast notes than typical for a cream ale. Good, crisp, drinkable body with moderate carbonation and low hops bitterness. The Belgian character doesn’t shout at you, but the beer has a little “something” more than a typical cream ale. Nice.
