Pre-Prohibition Pilsner. Stopped at the taproom on 9-9-2023. Had a flight. I thought this one was best so I bought a 32oz crowler for home. This batch is 6.6% ABV
Look: looks good, light gold body but has a odd color to it that is hard to describe, its like a corn starch tint. Decent head that lasts a while leaving some lacing
Smells good, grain, corn starch, sweet malt
Taste: plenty of grain, a hint of bread, and corn. There is a mild hop note that is herbal with a hint of earth/yeast. Slightly sweet overall. There is a very long lasting but mild aftertaste that is grainy. Smooth with no off flavors.
Feel: is great. slightly thick malt, but seems odd like it's heavy as in high density/gravity.
A different beer that I like, which I had another crowler. Has a few Imperial pilsner traits.
