Off tap in Stamford where I happened to be for my sisters wedding (what an event!) this beer was an amber/orange color with an off-white head. Atop the head were actual pumpkin spices; I’d never seen spices actually applied to the beer before serving. These spices quickly caused the head to fizz out. As such the aroma was almost entirely of the nutmeg, cinnamon and a little allspice with caramel malt behind that. The flavors were similar, being mostly spices with caramel malt and pumpkin behind that. It was easy enough to drink but I really felt it would have been better if the spices had been IN the brew rather than ON it. The mouthfeel was watery, the body light and the carbonation moderate.
