Appearance: Clear, deep amber. Frothy off white head with good retention.
Aroma: Toasted bread, caramel malt
Flavor: Toasty, caramel, semi-sweet, low bitterness
Mouth feel: Full bodied, drying. Moderate length finish.
Overall: Solid, well crafted amber ale. Exactly what you expect. Malt forward with toasted bread and caramel malt notes. Spicy/herbal hops accent. Balancing but low bitterness. Starts sweet but finishes dry. This brewery does a wonderful job with most beer styles. This one is no exception.
