Poured from a howler from the Brewer's Apprentice.
Appearance - Pours a cloudy apricot with three finger of bubbly off-white head.
Smell - tropical, citrus, and hint of piney hops, orange peel, peach, pineapple, hint of apricot, bready malts, hint of pine resin, hint of grapefruit peel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold tropical, citrus, piney hops upfront. The orange peel, peach, pineapple, apricot, pine resin, and grapefruit peel come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish off the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, fruits, and malts lingering.
Overall - A bold and flavourful IPA from the folks at the Establishment. This brew is a cross between an American IPA and a New England IPA. A must try for IPA fans out there in Cowtown and elsewhere!
